The Old Man and the Sea The poetry and lyricism of Ernest Hemingway brought to life in a new stage adaptation. You will ride in the boat with The Old Man, emotionally engaged in his epic struggle with the fish. See first hand the poignant relationship between The Old Man and the boy. Magically the story is underscored with expressive guitar stylings and songs from 1950’s Cuba. The Old Man and the Sea embodies everything expected from great theater, insightful storytelling, passionate performances, and healing thematic experiences.
Nancy Donoval: Laughing in the Dark “Death by Shampoo.” “Every Pastie Tells a Story.” “Dancing Rats and Vampire Moms.” These are some of the stranger-than-fictional stories that spring from Minneapolis-based storyteller Nancy Donoval’s larger-than-life experience. A storyteller for over two decades, Ms. Donoval has been featured on Minnesota and Chicago Public Radio and at theaters, festivals and conventions throughout the country. Her provocative performances are a deft mixture of hilarity and poignancy. The Minneapolis Star Tribune said of her work: “self-deprecating wit and quirky insight ... profoundly moving.”
Bill Harley: Dad Threw the TV Out the Window Genuine. Irreverent. Universal. Ridiculous. Original. Two-time Grammy winner Bill Harley uses song and story to paint a vibrant and hilarious picture of growing up, schooling and family life. His work reminds us of our common humanity and challenges us to be our very best selves—laughing all the way. A prolific author and recording artist, Bill has produced dozens of award-winning books and recordings for all ages. He is also a regular commentator for NPR's "All Things Considered" and has been featured on PBS.

Heather Forest: Songspinner Heather Forest's unique minstrel style of storytelling blends original guitar music with the sung and spoken word. A resident of Huntington, Long Island, she has toured her repertoire of world folktales for thirty years to theatres, festivals, and conferences throughout the U.S. and abroad. As an award-winning recording artist, Ms. Forest has over a dozen albums and books to her credit. She has performed at the Smithsonian Institution, the National Storytelling Festival, the Museum of Modern Art, and in Scotland, Austria and New Zealand.
